Reasons for being a Traditional Anglican

We believe...

 THE FAITH IS UNCHANGING

“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints.” Jude 3

“But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.” Romans 6:17

The noble deposit of truth from Jesus Christ to the Apostles is unchanging. It is our responsibility to teach and defend the Apostolic truth regardless of time or culture.  All Saints' Anglican Church is unwavering in its stand to hold to the Faith as it was delivered to all the saints.

HOLY SCRIPTURE ALONE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”  II Timothy 3:16

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the Word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” I Thessalonians 4:1

The Word of God is ‘inspired’, meaning “God breathed” and is as unchanging as God Himself. For any man or institution to elevate itself above the revealed mind and will of God is a great sin. We acknowledge the responsibility to believe every word that proceeds from the mouth of God and ‘to teach nothing contrary to God’s Word written.’ (Article 20). The Christian Episcopal Church requires all of its clergy to affirm the inspiration of Scripture and defend it at all costs.

THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS MINISTERS HAVE A DIVINE MANDATE TO FULFILL

“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices” I St. Peter 2:5

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 3:11

The Church is not a man-made, non-profit, corporation but is the Body of Christ and must fulfill His will without compromise.

We stand with believers of all times and throughout the world, placing the Faith above buildings, property, and ecumenical political dialogues.

The visible Church of Christ is a congregation of faithful men, in the which the pure Word of God is preached, and the Sacraments be duly ministered according to Christ’s ordinance...Article 19, Articles of Religion—Book of Common Prayer
